How To Hard Reset HTC One SV

There are two ways to perform hard reset on HTC One SV – using in-built Android option and using hardware buttons. The built-in reset option is helpful when you can boot into your device where the hardware reset option is useful when you stuck on lock screen.

1. Slide the Notifications panel open, and then tap on Settings (Gear Icon).
2. Tap Backup & reset from available options.

5. Tap Reset phone, and then tap OK.

How To Perform Hard Reset / Factory Reset Using Hardware Buttons on HTC One SV

1. Turn off your device first.
2. Press and hold the VOLUME DOWN button, and then press and hold the POWER button.
3. Wait for the screen with the three Android images to appear, and then release the POWER and VOLUME DOWN buttons.
4. Press VOLUME DOWN to select FACTORY RESET, and then press the POWER button
